Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No. 5042), the officials of the local self-government bodies in the settlements without notaries are authorized to perform notarial actions. The self-government officials are also authorized to attests the powers of attorney. The Bill raises the rate of state due for notarial actions performed by the local self-government officials. The People´s Deputies believe that it will cover the cost of notarial actions and alleviate the pressure on the local budgets.
The Bill will also facilitates citizens´ access to the notarial services in the settlements without notaries.
